A. We do! If you don’t have a roommate in mind, we offer this program for free. On your application, you will fill out a questionnaire to help our team match you with the best roommate we can find.

A. Yes, all residents are required to have renter’s insurance. We offer a policy for $12.95 per month, or you can use your own provider. Please contact our office for more details.

A. Our leases are individual leases, which means you are only financially responsible for your space. If your roommate transfers schools, you will not be accountable for their portion of the rent payment.

A. Our community is within walking distance to campus and downtown Chico, and we offer a private shuttle, so many residents don’t need a car.

If you bring one, you’ll register it during your application. Parking is a one-time fee of $100. Guests can park on nearby streets or request a 2-day guest pass from the leasing office.

A. We have 7 communal laundry rooms with washers and dryers available for residents. These are located on most floors in each building. You can download the WASH app or load a tap card at the kiosk in our lobby.

A. We are a smoke-free community. Smoking within 25 feet of any of our buildings is prohibited.

A. We offer two meal plans: Single and Triple. The Single Meal Plan includes one meal per day plus $100 in Flex Points per semester. The Triple Meal Plan, our most popular option, includes three meals per day plus $200 in Flex Points per semester.

The Single Meal Plan is $325 per month ($3,250 per year), and the Triple Meal Plan is $399 per month ($3,990 per year). Please contact our leasing office if you have questions about which plan may be best for you. You can also view meal plan pricing here.

A. The dining hall offers a rotating selection of fresh, flavorful dishes throughout the week. Residents receive the updated menu each month so they know what’s being served. You can download a sample weekly menu here to see examples of the options available.

A.We’re committed to serving food you can feel good about. Our dining hall offers options for a variety of dietary needs, including vegan and gluten-free selections. Our head chef and kitchen staff also take special care with ingredients and preparation to help accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions.

Residents can complete a Dietary Needs Survey or speak with our team directly about their dietary needs, preferences, or allergies so we can best support them.

A. Your meal plan can be used in the dining hall, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dining stations include daily entrées, a deli, salad bar, pizza, grill, and dessert options, giving residents a variety of choices throughout the day.

Your Flex Points can be used at Café 1400, which features a fully equipped barista serving Starbucks® coffee drinks, along with grab-and-go favorites like breakfast sandwiches, frozen meals, snacks, and convenience items.

Flex Points can also be converted to Dorm Dollars, which can be used at local partner restaurants including Madison Bear Garden, Woodstock’s Pizza, Kona’s, and Tacos Tonaya. To convert your Flex Points to Dorm Dollars, please visit the leasing office during business hours and our team will be happy to assist you.

A. The Social Chico is just 0.4 miles from Chico State, about a 5-8 minute walk.

A. Yes! We offer a private community shuttle to and from Chico State University for residents. View routes and times on our shuttle page.
